I am angry. I feel anger. The difference between these two sentences is vast. One assumes we are our emotions and the other that we have emotions but they are not "us". In this guided meditation we work with exploring emotions in our bodies and "sensing" them outside ourselves through our senses - helping us gain perspective.
One of my favorite meditations to help me build emotional IQ and resilience, this meditation opens up our experience of emotions and how our past, experience, ideas have formed around emotions and helps us remove some judgment. It can also help ease overwhelming emotions so that we can feel more at ease with EVERY emotion - no matter what it is and what relationships it has in our lives.
