Many times in our daily lives we can feel overwhelmed, overstimulated and too much in our heads. This can lead to feeling anxious, stressed, and disconnected. In this practice we work with a meditation my guru taught me - downshifting. It's a great way to move excess energy from the subtle, refined areas of our bodies (from the mid chest up) to the gross, more grounded areas of our bodies (from the mid chest down). Simple, easy to do and SO effective in bringing you to a state of presence, lightness, and wellbeing. (Just watch Lucy - she's all about this practice as she has practiced with me and my guru a BUNCH of times).
