Yin Yoga is made up of two unique approaches: one is the physical - moving the body for mobility and connective tissue health (energetically as well) and another is the present mindful awareness that we use in the practice to connect to our breath, our bodies, what we need today and how we need to respond to what our body/mind/senses/emotions are telling us.
In this practice we are melding two beautiful practices - weaving them more deeply together into one practice. Mindfulness (noting, breath awareness, body scan and sensory awareness mindfulness techniques) along with Yin Yoga poses to go deeper and experience the moment in all its fullness.
Props: 1 blanket (blanket: http://amzn.to/2v0U0eh) or towel optional for your practice but you can add whatever you need to make your practice sustainable and support you today.
