Our heart meridians are connected to our ability to sleep deeply, fully and soundly - to essential rest peacefully. When this organ system is out of balance - we feel overstimulated, cravings, longing and struggle to settle down. When in balance - we feel joy, peace, stillness, calm, compassion.
In this practice we will focus on balancing the heart meridians, activating the Vagus nerve with massage and breath, and conclude with a body scan - all meant to help us settle into our parasympathetic nervous system and get some deep, fulfilling sleep.
Props: none required but gather whatever you want to support you in this practice (as you can see Lucy has chosen me as her personal prop for this practice)
