Within Traditional Chinese Medicine and yoga tradition, the concepts of solar/lunar, yin/yang, masculine/feminine sun/moon are intertwined. Recognizing the value inherent in both sides, the blending of a little of the other in each, and the center upon which all of this clings - this is where the deeper aspects of yoga philosophy lie. In this practice we work with the two sides through breath, poses, and mindful awareness as well as centering to experience the uniqueness of each to achieve harmony.
