Welcome to this New Moon as we move into the end of the year! We can often feel this pressure to get a lot done and with the world around us struggling with elections, natural disasters, wars - we can feel the collective stress and tension all around us.
In this practice, we work with the heart, breath, and the psoas muscles to help soften and build resilience. We also focus on the vagus nerve - the nerve that wanders throughout our bodies and is affected by excess stress. Our intention is to practice deep self care and compassion to help us and our bodies release and feel nurtured.
Props: 1-3 blankets or towels (blanket: http://amzn.to/2v0U0eh), 1-2 pillows from your bed or sofa and anything else you feel you would like for this practice.
