Our Root Chakra is our connection to the earth element and the base of our overall chakra support system. It includes the feet, legs and base of the pelvis and is much like the roots of a tree - reaching down, gathering our basic needs - allowing us to grow tall and bloom!
In this practice we use a fusion of Yin Yoga and a mindful flow with emphasis on longer holds and more awareness in the Root Chakra - rooting down to rise. Lots of information on the Root Chakra and opportunities to build both strength and flexibility, allowing us to be strong AND mobile. Standing poses, standing balances, foot massage and hips all included!
Props: No props necessary but a block and a blanket might be helpful just in case.
