Pitta dosha is made up of fire and water elements and is the dosha related to transformation and digestion. Pitta dominant people tend to be go getters, game changers, outspoken, can eat almost anything without concern. Pitta dosha people often have more curves (compared to Vata dominant), have more moisture in and on the body, tend to sweat more easily and often run warmer than others. Pitta in excess can be expressed in hot flashes, overheating easily, anger, frustration, aggression. For Pitta types, cooling exercises and exercise done mindfully and connected help bring balance.
In this practice we work with the Liver meridians (organ related to this dosha), balancing fire and water elements, and the Kidney/Bladder meridians to cool and soothe - using forward folds and the breath to balance this dosha.
