The earth element in Traditional Chinese Medicine is related to the transition period between summer and fall (late summer) and is all about grounding, feeling stable, connected, centered.
Oftentimes during the seasonal transition our digestion will feel off, we feel as if the world is moving too fast and we feel scattered, unstable. Spending some time with the Spleen/Stomach meridians and connecting to the earth element in our practice can help bring us back to center (as well as stimulate good digestion). Enjoy!
