Right now is a time of intention - setting out on a great journey. A door stands before us and as we reach for the knob, we realize all that lies ahead - POTENTIAL. But, we have to let go of the things that weigh us down...doubt, fear, past emotions, old stories of others and ourselves.
Sometimes our bodies hang on to memories and the past through emotions. We call this our emotional history. Research has suggested that we hold this emotional history in our fascia/connective tissue (the issues in our tissues) and the area with the largest amount of fascia/connective tissue is the space between our mid-thigh and our navel.
In this practice we will be working with this space to help loosen, soften, and release the emotional history stored in our bodies with Yin poses and Yoga Nidra - allowing us to step forward into our future and process in our own time and space.
