Your lymphatic system lies under the skin throughout the entire body with nodes located mainly in the upper chest, under the arms, neck, and groin areas and is an integral part of your bodies immune system. Your lymphatic system transports immune cells and cell debris throughout the body for recycling or to be disposed of as waste - helping clear the body and detoxify it and support your natural immune system. You can help your body by keeping hydrated to help clear the body, dry brushing (stimulate movement and keep the system clear), eating an anti-inflammatory diet, and exercising - including yoga - to help stimulate the system as well as clear the body of waste and help with lymph renewal.
