Pause and Reflect | New Moon Yin Yoga

Sometimes we can feel as if the summertime is another space to run, run, run - to get as much "joy" done as we can, to savor EVERYTHING all at once. But what if we simply, intuitively moved through summer with intention, checking in, resting, healing, nurturing ourselves by choosing to "not" do quite so much but to be still, soft, and quiet?
Today's practice is all about taking a few moments to pause and just be fully in your body. We begin with breath and landing and explore Yin Yoga poses related to the Kidney/Bladder meridians/water element to cool and soothe summer heat and fire energy - bringing balance and softness back into our bodies and minds. We end our class with a poem and some gentle Koshi chime sound healing along with a few journal prompts as we close out the first half of the year.
Props: 1-2 blankets and anything else you might want to support you in your practice today.
