The heart chakra is the gateway between the lower more inwardly related chakras and the upper more outwardly related chakras. This chakra is associated with our sense of compassion, love, peace, and kindness both for ourselves and for others. It is also the seat of our inner vitality - the flame of our inner light.
Working with this chakra is sometimes challenging. In a world where we are overwhelmed by hatred, disconnection from self, criticism - the heart can feel closed and empty. Grief, depression, sadness are all related to this chakra as well. In this practice we focus on mantra, mudra, breath, and poses that stimulate, balance, and recharge our heart chakra to uplift, inspire, and nourish. Join me!
