Tapas Dharma Chat | The Fire Within

Our dharma chat today is about tapas - the 3rd Niyama in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras. Tapas is often translated as discipline, fire, passion and many think this means physical effort (and yes, it might include that), but it also incorporates mental and emotional states of passion and fire. This is the focusing of our minds and will to infuse a project with energy. It is the passion that helps us move forward in a situation or seek out our dreams. It is the discipline needed to not only choose the steps needed to do/be something but also the willpower to take those steps...stepping out of your comfort zone.
Join me for some "tapas" building heat with pranayama and a little chat on how to use tapas in your daily life.
