In Traditional Chinese Medicine, our Lungs are the Prime Minister or Minister of Heaven for the body - protecting and detoxifying the body through the skin and the breath - taking in fresh prana to "feed" the body, and helping maintain balanced fluid through working with the kidneys.
The Lungs are our first defense in our immune system - keeping us healthy and protected. Lungs are associated with the element of Metal and the season of Fall or Autumn and the emotions associated are grief and sadness.
We will be working with the upper body to open, clear and balance the energy channels of this organ system to keep them running optimally.
