Welcome to {Y}ingenuity - practices diving deeper into Traditional Chinese Medicine and including long, deep holds to allow you to settle, soften, and become more introspective.
Today we are working with the Shen, or the House of the Spirit - the heart. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Heart houses the spirit within and is the emperor of the organs. We explore this concept with long holds, deep breaths, and sweet stillness. Enjoy!
Poem: Mary Oliver "Today"
These holds are 6-7 minutes long so please have lots of props nearby for your poses to make them sustainable.
Props: 2 blankets OR beach towels (blanket: http://amzn.to/2v0U0eh)
