Connecting to the earth can be powerful and settling in, allowing your body to open slowly, mindfully, and with intention can be very supportive. Our practice today is all about connecting to gravity, the energy of the earth, and allowing ourselves to soften. We focus on the inner leg and tops of thighs (entire front and back body stretches) with minimal cues and long holds.
Long holds with minimal cues are considered to be more advanced as it requires you to be fully in the practice checking in to what you body and mind need and can do sustainably. Please come out of the pose whenever you feel YOUR body is ready and savor the opportunity to really connect to yourself in new ways.
