Welcome to our second Yama of the 8 Limbs of Yoga! Today we are working with Truthfulness or Honesty - Satya. Satya is living your truth, being authentic, living in alignment with your values and being/showing/acting with honesty. It means being authentic every single day - and being honest with yourself first and foremost.
Are you living your most authentic life? Are you presenting yourself to others because you think that's what they want to see? Are you expressing your truth clearly but with care? Do you find some ideas you once held to be true are no longer true or fit into your value system?
We explore what Truth means to each of us and apply it to our lives in this practice. Breathe, soften, and connect to your natural flow as well as your heart and your throat chakras to discover what is TRUE in your world.
Props: 1 blanket for your comfort (or whatever you want to feel comfortable - be true to what you need in this moment!)
