The element of water is often seen as the great flow and while that is one way of looking at water, there are others - such as nurturing, healing, mothering, purifying, cleansing.
In this ground bound, mindful yoga practice we work with the hips and legs as well as the bladder/kidney meridians to bring greater awareness and balance to the element of water in our lives and in our bodies. We move slowly, mindfully, and with an awareness of the different types of flow and our breath as a guide to that ebb and flow.
Props: none needed but you can add a blanket or towel for knees and blocks to help bring the ground closer to you.
