Beltaine Cacao Ceremony 2022

Beltaine is one of the fire festivals celebrating the beginning of the planting/harvest season and the fertility of the earth. Traditionally communities would gather together and light great bonfires to clear old energy, bring positive energy to themselves, their homes and their livestock. All household fires would be put out and the bonfires would be taken back to relight in each home - setting an intention and offering gratitude for this new year of growth. This was a time to celebrate fertility - of mother earth and all her bounty and to celebrate the fertility of creating and creativity. What are you creating right now? What do you want to create?
Gaelic Blessing
To the sacred three,
To save, to shield, to surround
To breathe, to inspire, to awaken
This day, this journey, this threshold
This day and each sacred day.
Journal/Reflection:
What is bringing me great joy right now in my life?
What does celebrating life mean to me?
How can I acknowledge and honor the fertile energies of this season/celebration?
