Everyone has periods where they worry more than usual, focusing on the tiniest things - past or future - with a worried feeling attached. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), the Spleen is the organ system associated to the Earth element, the transition period of late summer (summer to fall/winter), digestion and assimilation, and the psycho-emotional aspect of worry.
In this 35 minute Yin Yoga practice we focus on grounding, connecting to the Earth element, working with the Spleen meridian and finding a sense of peacefulness while letting go of worry. Lucy is here to offer her adjustments for any and all poses and to let you know - working with this meridian helped her STOP worrying too! Enjoy!
BTW, in case you are wondering - Lucy often does this in my practice (not as often on camera) and she never uses her claws. Always gentle - and I thank her for her help each time!
