Wintering...an at home retreat
Whether it be actual winter time for you or you feel as if right now your life needs some time for reflection, turning inward, softening and allowing, Wintering is a time honored tradition of self care. Many of us will go through times in our lives where we feel set adrift, working through huge changes, grieving, or just feeling a sense of disconnect or unsettled - this is when we need to slow down, pull back, and practice a lot of self care. Like nature, we need to go inside and heal - preparing us for whatever is to come.
Wintering is as simple as taking a day or an afternoon for journaling, reflection, a warm bath, time in front of the fire - whatever you feel you need right now to slow down and heal. Or it can be more...a week or more for deep reflection and resetting. Whatever time you have or don't, choose to step back and give yourself this special gift of healing.
We will begin our weekend with live Yoga Nidra + Journaling, move into a minimal cues Yin Yoga practice honoring the element of water and the healing/purification water offers, a Winter Solstice Cacao ceremony to inspire and warm your heart, and complete our weekend with a Restorative Yoga practice for deep rest and solace.
You are invited to deep healing....gather your journal, soft blankets, candles, and whatever you feel is supportive and healing for a self care weekend.
