Yoga Nidra is a unique meditation that is not actually a "style" but a state of being. The goal of Yoga Nidra is to bring us back to our essential self - helping us to return to balance. Yoga Nidra is traditionally done lying down so set yourself up comfortably for a beautiful, extended relaxation practice.
Yoga Nidra includes many of the elements we have covered in this course - breath awareness, breath regulation, mantra, visualization, sensory perception but the most relaxing aspect of Yoga Nidra is the body scan. I hope you enjoy this practice - settle in, get comfortable and return to balance.
Yoga Nidra is often translated as yogic sleep but it is SO much more than that! Yoga Nidra takes you to a deep inner place of healing and restoration - allowing you to tap into your inner source more deeply and heal both emotionally and physically.
While it definitely helps you physically relax and unwind tension, Yoga Nidra is also a great way to connect with yourself in a unique way. I hope you enjoy this practice as much as I do!
