{Y}ingenuity | Movement of Chi | San Jiao Meridian

Chi, prana, or vital energy has a pathway - intake, assimilation and elimination. We are born with a certain amount of chi which is stored in our Kidneys and throughout our lives, we also acquire Chi through food, breath, environment. This "acquired chi" moves through the body from the Lungs/Heart/Pericardium (upper burner) to the Stomach/Spleen/Liver/Gallbladder for assimilation (middle burner) and onto the Large/Small Intestines/Kidneys/Bladder for elimination (lower burner). The minister of this process is the San Jiao meridian.

Today we will be working our way, following the path of Chi to bring balance and awareness to this life sustaining process. As we hold some poses longer, feel free to use any and all props you need and/or come out of the pose when you need to.

Props: 1-2 blankets OR beach towels (blanket: http://amzn.to/2v0U0eh) and a very loving cat (purely optional)
