Welcome to the New Moon! As we transition from inward focused Winter to the outward opening of Spring, we feel a pause between the seasons - a liminal space to prepare our minds and bodies for what is beginning to grow in our lives. This is the perfect time to clear out any stagnation, release the heaviness of Winter, and RENEW ourselves energetically, physically, and mentally.
Join me on the mat for an affirmation, reading, pranayama and a slow flow guided practice to help balance the liver/gallbladder meridians (those related to the element of Wood and Spring), ignite our digestive fire (to burn off the heaviness of Winter), and wring out the tissues of the body to help us prepare for Spring! Yoga practice followed by a guided meditation.
For this practice, settle into a quiet, comfortable space with any supportive elements you would like (props suggested: yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, a blanket and/or anything else you would like to support you in your practice). This is YOUR practice so make the space as supportive and sweet as you need today. During the practice you can choose to have your video on or off and if you like music in the background, please feel free to add that to your practice space (I have some options on Spotify https://open.spotify.com/user/theyogaranger?si=23b7d7d8fe0a4953). This is a gift to yourself so choose a quiet space that will be spacious and free from interruptions. And as always, choose variations, modifications or alternatives that support you and your body today - this is your practice time!
Affirmations: My mind is open, my body is strong and my heart is pure.

Release the old and open your heart to invite the new in. You have everything you need to live your dream life so let the old stories go and make space for the new ones you are creating. Create, build, plant, transform, awaken, reawaken.
