The Waning Moon is the beginning of the downward turn of our energy and it is a time of release - letting go of whatever is holding you back so you can move forward at the New Moon. There is no better area to work with than the hips when it comes to letting go as the hips are dense with connective tissue and are often said to hold our emotional history. Join me as we mobilize the hips, focus on what needs to be let go, and release it all with the breath.

Deep rest is about returning to balance. In this practice we focus on opening up the heart space and breath - balancing the breath overall to soothe our minds and bodies.
Props: 1-3 blankets or beach towels, 1 block, 1 bolster
You don't have to get on the floor or have a yoga mat to benefit from a midday yoga stretch! Just 10 minutes in your chair - breathe, stretch, release tension and refocus!
Props: a chair!
Ready for happier hips? In this practice we focus on the hamstrings, inner leg and lower back as part of our "hip" complex - making space, releasing tension, and opening up the area for greater mobility. If you only have a few minutes - join me for some longer holds and depth into the hips!
